SUBJECT: HARTER INDUSTRIES, INC. ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT AND CEO

Tempe, AZ, October 31, 2003 - Harter Industries, Inc. today announced that William J. Hinski has acquired Harter and will function as President and CEO. Hinski brings more than 25 years of aircraft systems sales and management expertise to Harter, and has provided sales support to Harter over the last five years through his sales and marketing company, AerLink, Inc.

Harter Industries, Inc. is headquartered in Tempe, Arizona and was incorporated in 1988. The company's primary operation is the overhaul and repair of commercial and military aircraft components. Harter's secondary operation is the manufacturing of ground support test equipment including repair and recalibration.

As new owner of Harter Industries, Hinski's objectives are to become a premier Tier 1 supplier to the Major/Regional Airlines and Military MRO markets both nationally and globally. Expectations are to provide value to our customers by providing the highest level of quality and service to our growing customer base.
