Harter Industries, Inc. Launches New Identity Program

Logo, packaging, advertising, business cards, letterhead, invoices, shipping container, corporate image, first impressions, meaning, understanding who you are, and what you do, are all pieces of the corporate identity puzzle. After 20 years, Harter Industries, Inc. has chosen to undertake this challenge to better position itself in the aviation aftermarket industry.

Harter's new "solution based message and image" reflects its multi-faceted capabilities to serve as a fast solution provider for aircraft components within the aviation aftermarket industry. Harter Industries, Inc. is realigning its business strategies to focus on growth. The new branding scheme will help bolster this objective.

The Curtis Design Group, of the Phoenix Metro area, was selected to develop Harter's new corporate brand. Scott Curtis, who serves as both Principal and Creative Director, is instrumental in helping clients realize the power of strategic branding by developing and implementing targeted brand identity programs. Prior to forming the Curtis Design Group, Scott's previous experience includes roles at Landor Associates where he worked on identity programs for such clients as FedEx™, Basis Petroleum™, Looney Tunes™ (Warner Brothers™) and Sony™. He later joined the Landor Seattle team as a senior designer where he worked primarily with Microsoft™ on both brand identity and collateral projects. Most notably, he developed the Windows98™, BackOffice™, Encarta 98™ and other Microsoft brand identities.

Scott formed the Curtis Design Group in 2000. CDG serves both regional and national clients by helping them realize the power of strategic branding.
